Indigestion

I'm 13 weeks prego and having really bad indigestion every time after I eat. It's just this yucky feeling that I can't really explain but I'm pretty sure it is just indigestion. Does anyone know anything I can do for it? I should explain though that it is not acid reflux that I am feeling. I had that a lot in my 3rd trimester with my first pregnancy but this is a lot different.

I had the same thing with both of my pregnancies. Tums helped some, but even water had a bad effect on me. Talk to your doctor about a prescription. There are things that are safe to take that can help. There is an old wives' tale that if you have severe "heartburn" when you are pregnant you will have a baby with lots of hair. It was true for both of my babies. I recently heard that is the only wives' tale that has been proven true.

Go to the chiropractor. I went to one my entire 2nd pregnancy and it was a miracle. I had little to no back pain, no heartburn or indigestion, and I just felt so much better.
Other than that, eat small meals several times a day and take and antacid.

The only thing that worked for me was drinking a bit of apple cider vinegar when I felt a twinge

GERD can cause indigestion. Most people think its only heartburn but its not. Its a whole host of feelings in the digestive tract, to include causing IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)

You still having the same issue just a different feeling. You need to get on a relief regement such as Zantac 150 2 times a day everyday to help. If this doesnt help much as your doctor if they have anything else newer these days.

Take Lactaid, it helps break down all the things that you eat that are making you feel yucky, I did all through my pregnancy and it helped so much.

I know what you mean, I'm 10 wks pregnant and get the same thing if I eat too big of a meal. Cut down your portion size and you may have to cut out certain foods too, that just make you feel yucky after you eat them.
