Hello! I am a part time working mom and my husband and I are in great need of a reliable, fun babysitter for our 3 little ones. We have two boys ages 3 and 2 and a baby girl who is 6 1/2 months old. The greatest need is for 2-3 evenings (from about 5pm until about 7pm) per week to babysit when I need to leave for work and my husband isn't home yet. Also, Sunday afternoons from about 3:30pm until 6:30pm we are in need of a babysitter so my husband and I can attend a financial planning course that lasts for 13 weeks. We are looking for someone with childcare experience, and preferably an early childhood education major in college (not required - but desired). Well, it turns out a friend of the family can help us out during the week and we no longer need the childcare for Sundays (childcare onsite where we are taking the class)...but thank you to everyone for your offers and suggestions! I really appreciate the responses!

They have people willing to work FT, PT, and occassionaly; reasonably priced; background checks on all employees, etc.

I just started a home daycare, I live in th PV area so I am a bit far from you but I had an idea for you. I am always looking at Craigslist to see who is around me doing care and how much they cost for ...research I guess. But I always see ads in there for babysitters, some of them come with education backgrounds, cpr/first-aid willing to do nights and some even 24 hour care. Its worth looking into. The website is craigslist.org.............do not put .com :)thats an"adult"site. Good Luck

Hi my name is S., I have a home based daycare. I have openings for part time in the evening for your children. I'm not sure where you are located in Glendale, but I am in Goodyear off of Estrella Parkway & Lower Buckeye Parkway. For all 3 children for 2-3 evenings plus sundays for 13 weeks, my rate would be $5 per hour per child, or my fixed rate would be $125 a week for all 3 up to 25 hours per week. If you find a good one will you share???? Just kidding, we too have been looking for a sitter but still no one I trust or would leave my kid's alone with. It's not that I have trust issues, it's just I remember being that age....
but we want to start to have date night or movie night so my husband doesn't feel so neglected and we can have an adult conversation, which can be challanging when you spent all day looking for bug's with your boy's in the dirt!! (mine are almost 2 & almost 4)
I see you are in or near Glendale. Me too. Maybe some how we could help each other. I am home and can't start my schooling until I fined a P.T. sitter during the week, which so far NOTHING. So, when I read your post and saw you were near maybe I could help out during the week and Sunday, and then maybe you could help me 1-2 in a month so we could go out. We would NEVER stay out long or go far ....

I (he) may be able to show you how to get licensed/classes for free. He only paid to the state exams. Which tests will you sit for? Series 6, 7, or Series 66, nsad. life, health etc....
