In Need of Quality In-Home Daycare in Plainfield near Clublands Neighborhood

We are looking to place our two daughters into full-time daycare. We have a 15 month old and an almost 4 year old. We prefer a licensed in-home daycare, but are open to looking at non-licensed as well. We are looking for daycare near the Clublands neighborhood at Theodore and County Line Road.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you for all of your suggestions! We ended up touring a daycare center and decided to place the girls there. We have never done a daycare center before so this is a new experience for us. (Unfortunately our most recent experience with home daycare did not turn out well) I will keep all the information from you just in case it does not work out the way we want it to. Thanks again!

I actually used a licensed daycare provider in The Clublands for 4 years. Unfortunately she has moved out of the area. There is a Clubhouse in The Clublands with a bulletin board where people list services offered. I'm not sure if you live in the subdivision or not but they would probably let you come in and look at that or the people working at the front desk may know of daycare providers in the subdivision. I know there were other people who were licensed at the time my daughter was there. Good Luck! Finding good childcare can be hard.

Licensed is better - there is a limit to the number of infants at a licensed childcare center.
Please do check out Nora Parkman in P.. Her phone number is
###-###-####. She has teaching degree and started her own home childcare to be home with her two daughters.
Plan to visit home daycares and see how nap etc get handled.

I see I got recommended (isn't that so sweet!! Thanks Carolyn!! I miss your kids so much) and I wish I had room for you in my center but I am totally full at this time.
Here is a list of sites which may help you on your search... I also have a person I could recommend to come to your house, she was my assistant last year when I was hoping to expand to a group daycare home (group didn't work out due to fire marshall saying I had to basically do a huge unreasonable building project). Private message me if you want her name and number.
