I`m trying to find a home childcare for my little girl (10 months) and my son (2 years)
We`re from Canada and I was amaze how expensive are the daycare. I just find a job and I told them I wanted to work evenings and weekends but they would like me to work sometimes during the day and I don`t know anybody. I live in Oak Cliff on Duncanville RD.
Hello J., if you go to the Texas Workforce Commission website (www.texasworkfoce.org) and click on the job seekers and employee's link (red box) then click the 3rd link on the left side of the page "childcare information, research report and providers list" it will take you to the page where you can search all daycares and dayhomes by zip code. I don't actually have any "advice" for you - just a warm welcome to the Metroplex from a fellow Canadian! It sure is fun to meet new people who move here from Canada - even if it's across the country from where I grew up (Alberta). My kids are almost 3 (boy) and just turned 4 (girl).
