I never experienced this with my other two pregnancies, but for those of you who have -

How much blood was it? Just like brownish spotting, or could it be - initially - mistaken for a period?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks, ladies!

Everything is fine. We're TTC now and my pregnancy symptoms are almost identical to my period ones. Usually the first day of my period is very heavy, but this was much lighter so I wasn't sure. At this point, it's pretty clear I'm menstruating. Maybe next month!

If you are bleeding and you know you are pregnant then contact your doctor. If you are in the first trimester this is really important. I do not want to scare you but you want to make sure you are not having a miscarriage. I had one before my son. I hope all is well. God bless

I had it with my 2nd it was very light spotting brownish in color and it was too early in my cycle to be my period. I just knew I was pregnant and I tested positive about a week before my period was due. Good luck

I had it with my first two pregnancies...surprisingly not with my current pregnancy. It was very light brownish spotting, but I have heard that it can be mistaken for a period. Hope your pregnancy goes well. :)

My OB told me implantation bleeding is usually a very small amount. Little spots, or a smear when you wipe. There are definitely exceptions, but the norm is just a little blood...not enough to be mistaken as a period.

I bled, sometimes heavily, the first 14 weeks. I was bleeding so much at 5-6 weeks my OB couldn't believe I was pregnant. Bleeding can be fine, or a sign of trouble... Hope everything turns out ok.

I did not have implantion bleeding with my two viable pregnancies but I did have just some light pink blood when I wiped and had a positive test. I miscarried 2 wks later. Not that that will happen but it was just light pink for me.
