My current job is ending & with only 1 job prospect I was starting to worry about being unemployed. I was just offered a job that will be starting right when my current job ends!
I just love it when things work out in the end :-D This made my Monday so much better!

my happy news is that although i have to go home and pack theres a cold beer in the fridge (we never have beer at home, and i got it for my boyfriend last night and he was too sleepy to have one...woohooo for M.)

My husband and I have been trying for the last three years to move back to FL, but won't do so unless I have job (in this market he can get a job anywhere, but I can't). We had pretty much given up on the whole idea for another year when lo and behold... my phone rings Monday asking me if I would be available to interview. Yay! Phone rings again this morning asking for another interview (different position)... double yay!
Things do happen for a reason.
I was finally successful with getting the kids to try a new food! They each ate an entire plum today with lunch :) Congrats on your happy news!
I got laid off last week and just got a job offer to start tomorrow! I'm so excited that I was only laid off for a week!

I have no happy news today...the water main in front of our house broke this weekend. They fixed it quickly(we were only without water for 30 mins). They had to check our water today and don't like how cloudy it is. They are changing the main we are on so we will be without water for up to 2 days! We are the only house effected! We are actually right next to the water place and they are the nicest guys...they are running a hose from their property to our yard so we have that water! And they feel so bad that they have to do this to us...I just laughed and said its no big deal...these things happen!
Oh wait...I do have good news...they said they are going to talk to our city and make sure we aren't paying for water this month! They like to do stff like that for the residents of our small town! How awesome is that!? Love living in a small town!

Today was a golden day of everything just smoothly moving along, kids playing outside in the nice warm weather instead of seering heat and watching them play in the water making mud puddles with puppy.

My husband finally got a job after being out of work for a yr and a half. He started today but not paid during training. But at least a pay check will be coming.
Bad thing is the only response I got for a sitter wants $15 an hour. He might as well stay home since we would be in the same boat--if not worse.
