It is now a regular and slightly heavier period every 2 weeks for 7 days!!
I am anemic so I dit exhausts me completely
I have also just started wearing Tampons a few periods before my cycle went crazy
I do NOT want to go on the pill.
I know its supposed to regulate... but id rather find out what exactly is wrong an fix it naturally

Go the the Gyno - I wonder what the change could be that would make that happen? ! I dont think tampons would have any effect on your cycle like this, but I would go and get checked out ! GL

Hi. I had the same thing happen to me, except it was after my youngest child was born. The dr. will probably want to do a complete blood work up to check your thyroid levels and other things. That may be the cause. For me, the dr. said it was just a hormonal imbalance caused by the pregnancy and birth. I didn't want to go on the pill either, so I was put on progesterone pills for a few months. It quickly regulated me. Now instead of a two week heavy cycle, I'm back to a regular cycle and have been for close to a year now. Good luck.

You need to see a doctor. I'm not sure why you are saying no to the the pill, when that is typically what is used to regulate periods. Usually going on the pill for a time will get you back to a more healthy occurance of periods. I've been on the pill for a total of about 25 years of my life with no side effects. And being a virgin or not and tampon use or not would certainly have no effect on your periods.

I had these issues for a long time before I found a doctor who did a hormone screen on me and found out that I was low in progesterone. My daughter was 18 at the time when I found out that she also had progesterone issues. She went away to college and started her vegetarian diet and has no more problems and does not take her medication anymore.

Time for a gynie visit. A good doctor will address all of your concerns. Good luck, sweetie!
