Im Building a Website, What Would You like to See?

this sounds totally cliche, but we are one of those families who had major life changing results when we decided to "go green" and switch to naturally based products. I also have a lot of friends and co-workers who have had results like that with various ailments, so i decided to start building a website with everyone's story, what they went through, and what helped them so if people are having the same problems they can contact that person individually.

So far i have a section for Staph and MRSA, Fibromyalgia and Auto-Immune Disorders, Allergies and Asthma, Arthritis/Joints and Cerebral Palsy, General Fatigue, and i would really love to include a section for dry skin, although i do not have anyone as of yet that has a story they would like to include.

what are other sections that you personally would like seen? how likely would you be to read a website such as this?

As some one involved in health education, I think your idea is a good one as long as you position it correctly.

A recent survey found that over 40% of all information claiming to be health related on the internet is actually misinformation leading the average person to be really confused and often led down the wrong path.

If you position your site as stories about health conditions but not as an authority on health conditions specifically, I think you'll have a lot more traction. There's no doubt that there's a big movement towards natural treatments (I personally don't subscribe to that movement as a biologist). I think the responsibility needs to be presenting accurate information in the proper context so people can choose to investigate and research more.

In the spirit of social media, though, I think it's a great idea. You may want to do some intense searches on Google/Bing/Yahoo! to see if there's anything similar to what you're doing out there and see how they've been able to be successful or to learn from some of their missteps.

Good luck!

If you can solve my oily skin (face) & hair, I'd love to see that! lol

I would be interested in reading about allergies. My sister might be willing to share her story about discovering she is allergic to wheat/gluten. My mom also found out she's allergic to wheat/gluten as well as a lot of other foods that makes it really hard to eat! I'm scared to find out what I might be allergic to, though I know I need to!!

How about carpel tunnel and tendinitis? I myself have had tendinitis in both wrists for about 10 years now.

I would include that serious conditions such as staph and MRSA should be under the care of a medical professional as your company is not designed to diagnose or cure such serious conditions.

If the website was designed to offer only one company's products as a remedy, I would not be interested at all. I am commited to having a chemical free home, but after near disaster with one "wellness" company, I like to get advice on a broad range of health products from different companies and stores, as well as practical things that I can buy in my local stores.

My mother suffers from RSD, it is little known and very hard to diagnose and treat.

It is really horrible to watch her go through both fybromyalgia and RSD, on top of her already existing back problems. She has been on disability for a couple of years now, and I am sure if she had somewhere to go to see what others are doing about these problems it would be on her favorites list, as one of the one thigs she can still do is browse the web in bed with her laptop.

With the business you are in am surprised you don't have dry skin stories. I have quite a number of clients whose dry skin has been helped with the lotion I have over those of the prescription steriods or even Eucerin.

What about a section on the effects of vaccines on our health? Many of these things you listed can be linked to vaccine toxicity.
If you had good info with resources, I would be very interested in your site.

I would be very interested in the allergy & asthma info that you mentioned. If you have anything on heartburn or stomach acid, that sort of thing - my husband and my dad both have hiatal hernias. Also a natural cure for yeast infections.

I don't know about most people, but I didn't get interested in green & natural products until I was pregnant with my first. That's when I started searching out chemical-free cleaning products. Also there are no safe allergy meds for pregnant women, and that has been a huge hassle for me! So it might help to link up with sites for pregnant moms or newborns to get more traffic. Good luck!
