If I Were to Sell....

I am a self proclaimed Coach addict! That said, some medical things have come up and I would like to sell the 'collection' that took 5 years to build. Most are excellent condition, having only been used a month or two before being traded off for the next pretty bag. I do have reciepts and tags for them all.

Knowing upfront that I will not get anywhere near what I paid, what would be a reasonable price/percentage to expect?

What can I do next?

You have several choices:

1. Consignment shop - they will sell it for you and give you money - they have already done the research on the bags and will know the right price to charge.

2. ebay - takes time to get the right pictures and listing it correctly. Dust bags, boxes, tags, etc.

go to ebay and so an "advanced search" for closed/ended listings on the Coach purses you have in your collection. Depending upon the purse and number, you might get more for it than you know.

Good luck!

No idea! LOL I am a cheapie!

I would look on ebay for some good ideas for pricing though. Look under the "completed listings" for ones that actually sold. There may be some that are listed for high prices but will never sell for what they are listed for. You will get a better idea by looking at what prices they HAVE and have NOT sold for.

Good luck!

High end consignment shops are the new thing, Plato's closet is designer only and pay up front on their consignments. See if you have something similar in your area. If not, I shop designer on ebay a lot. If you have original packaging it helps. Good luck, and prayers for speedy recovery!

I own the candace carryall. I paid about $300 - I just looked online and the price on coach.com is $348.

I went to ebay and did a search. they seem to be selling for around $60. So that's about 17% of the original purchase price.

Do keep in mind that a lot of eBay ones are machine sewn knockoffs.

You will not get what you paid, not even half. Ebay starts at 60.00 for the older stuff and it may take a while to sell. It goes for 2-300 if tags are still on.
It depends on alot of things. Maybe you can sell them on hereor craigslist?
