Easiest to find is usually PJs. I know a couple of families who get all matching PJs and wear them on Christmas morning - from adult down to toddler size.
Last year for Christmas I got the 15 kids on my list who range from 1-15 in age puffy vests from old navy. Each cost me $10 or $12. The boys got green and the girls purple. It was easy and well received.
Any ideas for something similar? Of course the gifts don't have to be identical but to the extent it can be one stop shopping and done online all the better.
The kids are either cousins or close friends.
Thanks in advance.

One year I gave all my nieces & nephews fuzzy fleece throws. They all loved it regardless of age. I'm giving one to my newest niece this year.
I don't know if things are still good deals now, but throws were at deep discounts in October and November. I paid $4 instead of $20.
How about flashlights? For the one year old, it can be a little cuddly animal that lights up, or any toy that glows. For the toddlers and pre-schoolers, cool flashlights with maybe a super hero on them, or ones that look like camping lanterns, or any unbreakable fun flashlight. And for the older kids, nice compact LED lights with carabiners (for attaching to backpacks or belt loops or purses), for safety when walking home in the evening or letting themselves into the house safely, or to use when camping or at sleepovers. For the 15 year old who may be learning to drive soon, a sturdy safety flashlight to keep in the car in case of emergencies.
every year for secret santa i get a good supply of fleecy throw blankies, and they get stolen to the max. (also yankee candles, but the kids don't care about them.)
despite the fact that most of us have a stack of fleecy blankies stashed somewhere in our houses, kids never seem to get tired of getting new ones. and you can find 'em on sale for your price range and in a terrific variety of colors and prints.
15 kids! yowza!
ETA snork! we're all on the fleecy bandwagon! :D

As a parent of 3 kids I do not need anymore extra blankets in my house. Last year grandma got them a fleece and sister got them a fleece. Now I have 6 fleece blankets to store. No thanks, hope I don't get more this year!
I love your puffy vest idea. That is a clothing item everybody likes and can use, but not an essential that is usually purchased by parents. Perfect!
Maybe stuff kids use in school but would be falling apart or lost by this point in the year- like a cool sports bottle, or lunch bag. I like the umbrella idea, my kids love special umbrellas. Clearly, I lean toward the practical ;)
fleeces (from Old Navy), hat/mitt/scarf sets (Old Navy), pajamas on sale, fleece throw .. that's what my family typically does seems to go over well :)
Another thought.... I had 16 kids on my list. Instead of buying each one of them a $15 gift they didn't seem to excited about receiving we started having a white elephant party. Everyone brings a gift and gets one gift in return. We often make them silly gifts (light up Christmas tree hat, boxers, etc) or it could be a giant candy bar. It is so, so fun and I think much more memorable than any $15 gift I ever bought.
We just did blankets for an entire group of kids of varying ages last month. Ordered the blankets from Amazon for $17 each (twin fleece type) and had each one embroidered with their first name and year (2015) for $12 each locally. I know that spending nearly $30 is probably more than you were looking to spend, but in the past we have also done pillowcases, which were cheaper, and 3/4 zip shirts, which were more than the blankets. Would something along those lines work? Another one would be a personalized Xmas ornament . . . (or non-personalized, if the cost/work was too out of control).
Good luck!
we get books or puzzle games. easy to adapt for varying ages, and they love it, and have begin to drop book hints on thanksgiving so we know what they want.
My kids would be THRILLED to get one of those super soft fuzzy throw blankets. I know that seems boring for a kid, but they would love it if they had their own for their beds. The ones where one side is a colorful pattern and the other side is like really soft white sherpa/fur.
Those fuzzy throw blankets are really popular right now and you can get them practically anywhere from $5-25. I would think all ages would love a new blankie. My 13 and 16 yo use theirs every day because I won't put the heater on. lol Good luck.
We have a passel of little girls within a year or two of each other in age. They often get similar items from me. This year I'm branching out for the tween and the boys, but the other cousins are all getting something like a mini pillow pet and a book.
Umbrellas (ok, so maybe not for the 1 year old)? Snow gear? Pjs? Blankets? Stuffed animals for the little ones, i-tune cards for the big ones? Sleeping bags? Art kits? Slippers? Backpacks/bags? Mugs and cocoa? Bath stuff? Bath robes? Bean bags? Books? Beach towels?
My kids all love super soft things right now. So maybe themed pillows or blankets??
Hat, glove and scarf sets, different colors like the vests. Umbrellas, or items that they would use/need everyday. Sweaters, throw blankets, backpacks, fun pj's.

Nice feeling blanket. You can get them at Ross or another discount store for about 10.00 or even a little less. This is a gift they can use all year long.
Fuzzy socks, festive hats, mittens/gloves, cozy slippers, cups/mugs, books, puzzles, balls, bubbles, balloons, ornaments, picture frames, fleecy robes, personalized towels.
I'm certain I'll think of more but this is all I've got for now.
Fuzzy blankets are a great idea! Better than mine, but I'll share it anyway - one thing I love about Amazon is how easy it is to find books for cheap. Sure maybe you can't get the same one for everyone but it wouldn't take long to find age/gender appropriate ones. Good luck!
Pjs, hoodies, slippers, hats.
I agree with Shannon, no more blankets. Slippers maybe?
