One of our favorites is chili, chicken noodle soup, ham & bean soup, veggir soup or any other favorite. You can cook up a pot (or two or three) ahead of time and then freeze it in your serving bowls. Once the lump of soup is frozen you take them out of your serving bowls and place the frozen lumps in freezer bags. When it is time to eat you just grab a lump, put it in the serving bowl and toss it in the microwave. Makes for an easy tasty home-cooked meal!
I have also visited Entrees Made Easy... which is also a great option, a bit more expensive that home-cooked, but definately easier than grocery shopping and then cooking. May be a little more than your guys are willing to do to have a good meal. I know it is more than mine can handle. It'd be good for when you are ready to return to the kitchen when time is limited with a new baby!
Good Luck with the new addition! J. @ Every Mother and Child.com
