Ideas for Announcing Pregancy to My Hubby

I had a friend who took her hubby (and their 3 yr old) out to dinner. She had gone some where and bought some small baby items such as a pair of booties, bib, rattle, etc and wrapped them up in a box like any other present. She had their three year old give it too him. He just thought it was a gift for him. He had no idea. They had been trying too but it took them a little while to get pregnant so he wasn't really expecting it. Somehow they got pics without him noticing. They were so cute and the look on his face was priceless. You could tell he was confused at first and then when it clicked in his head he was super excited. It was great.

When I found out I was pregnant with our second child, I decorated our bathroom with pink and blue balloons,put some baby booties next to the pregnancy test that was positive and wrote on the mirror, " We did it again! We are pregnant"! He woke up the next day, went to the restroom and I walked in shortly after and we shared a moment! It was great!

there are some really cute t-shirts at cafepress.com ..there are some on there that you could even put on your daughter and see how long it takes for your husband to notice it. when you go on the website go to shop marketplace and I think it's under the category of pregnancy or something. I wanted to do this for my parents if I ever found out I was pregnant..unfortunately, that's not going to happen, but I thought it was a really cute idea

I did for my husband when I found out I was expecting. I went to Babies R Us and bought an " I love Daddy" bib. I wrapped it in a gift box and gave it to him when he came home from work that night. He was so surprised that I was giving him a present for no reason! When he opened it up, he was thrilled!!!! He knew instantly what it meant.

I know this doesnt sound sexy, but I thought it was cute. I bought a shirt for my 2 year old son that said,
"I'am The Big Brother". I let dad figure it out on his own.

How I told me husband when I was pregnant with baby #2, was I bought a shirt for my daughter who was 2 1/2 at the time, a shirt that said, she was going to be a big sister...and she was wearing it when he came home from work..it was a cute reaction.

They have these really cute mugs with a picture of a bee on it the say "Daddy to Bee" and other family member names. My husband knew before I was pregnant before I did, but we did surprise my parents by making my dad a cup of coffee during a visit and serving it in the cup. It was subtle but he got it right away and was thrilled.

On vacation I ordered a very nice glass of wine but didn't drink it. When he asked my why I didn't want it, I smiled and offered it to him, explaining that I wouldn't be drinking any for the next 9 months. He cried!
