There's Dave & Busters. You could give each girl a $10 game card and let them play for a while. Then have dinner at the restaurant. It's not as secure as Chuck E Cheese but there's tons of games and she'll have lots of fun.

Are interested at all in the sleepover option? You can limit it to 5 friends, let her pick out some movies at blockbuster, and order pizza.

If you have a hair salon you frequent, check with your stylist and see if she or anyone she knows does parties. I've known some stylist who would come to your house and fix the girls hair, put a litle makeup on them, and maybe do their nails. Makes them feel real grown up.

You could also just take her and her friends to a nail salon. They usually do a "polish change" for around $5. For an extra buck they can get a flower on their thumbnails. Then go out to eat somewhere.

OK. I'm out. My daughter turned 6 this year and we still had a dress up party at our house with a moonwalk in the yard. Next year is probably going to be tough. Good Luck

My daughter turned 7 in Aug. and we did a "not quite spend the night" party. We had her friends (7 of them) come in their pj's with their doll or stuffed animal and pillow. We painted fingernails (I had one other helper) and we did a face mask with cucumber slices and took pictures. We did the usual pizza and cake and then turned out all the lights gave out glow necklaces and watched a movie on their pillows until parents arrived. There was lots of high pitched squeals but worth the fun!

How about painting pottery? There is a great place called Out of the Box in Alpharetta that has that option along with other options as well. You'll get a better feel for what they do if you go by and check them out personally.

Have fun! S.

I own M. Treehouse and we host b-day parties. We do face painting, an art/craft to go with your theme, music time (can be dance or martial arts depending on what she likes), then we eat whatever food/drinks you bring in and open gifts if you choose to. Up to 10 kids is $195 and 11-20 kids is $225, which includes all activities (dance or martial arts is $30 extra), plus basic table covers/utensils/plates/napkins. We handle the party so you can enjoy it and watch your daughter and her friends have a blast, take pictures, etc. We also have Slumber Parties! I hope we can help you, and please check out my classes for your kids, too...all music & art classes from birth up. www.MissLaLasTreehouse.com. Call 770/425-9660 with questions. Oh, and we're on Whitlock Ave. across from the Kroger near Burnt Hickory Rd.

Good party Ideas for a 7 yr old include, and Barbie party and do Barbie themed things.

A Build-A-Bear Party. guests get to chose and stuff their own bear.

Not sure where you are but there is a bookstore called the Pickle Patch in Marietta. I would call them and see if they still do a tea party or a birthday party. This was FUN and the Birthday child was the focus of the entire party. Treats provided and you can bring your own cake.( I did this when my daughter was 2).

I have had a knot blanket party, in which the children make a knot blanket and then donate the blankets to charity or you can have that as their party favor.

Monkey Joe's is good. My neighbor did a double party for her kids there and had the party in the middle of both her kids birthdays. That worked out well for her.

I have also done a preemie baby clothes party to donate.

My daughter gets sooooo much I want her to give back.

I think its important to focus on the Birthday child, yet at the same time start teaching empathy and community services and helping one another.

We will probable do something for the Georgia Firefighters Foundation for this years birthday. The foundation provides a week long camp for children who have been in burn accidents for the kids to experience summer camp just like regular kids. They support the camp entirely on donations. So it depends how much money is raised what kind of camp they can give the kids.

You can email me off list if any of my ideas need more information.

Happy Birthday to your sweetie. 7 is a FUN age.
