My husband's birthday is November 26, and it always gets lost in Thanksgiving travel. I want to plan a party for him early in November, and would love to have some kind of wine tasting or wine, cheese and music type party - not at home! I know there are probably many places that have this kind of venue, but I don't know where they are. We are in central Dallas...does anyone have a suggestion? Even if it's a different idea, I'm open!

Try Tony's Wine Warehouse on Oak Lawn- they do great wine tasting parties.

Cru is also in West Village off of Lemmon, which would be closer to you. I also saw a sign for a wine place called Cork, also in the West Village - 3636 McKinney.

In Lakewood there's Wine Therapist. I believe there's another location on Lover's near Inwood.
