A friend took her kiddos (4 and 6 as well) to the Allen Ice Center for ice skating lessons, and she was impressed. I don't know the price, though. Good luck!! My 4 year old wants to learn to skate, too, so this will be in our future. :)
I live in the Richardson area (Plano and Dallas are closeby too for classes). I was wondering if moms out there have any advice on skating classes for children. I was looking at something for the summer (possibly everyday too) which is not too expensive. Kindly help me out.
Thanks, I shall check this place out tomorrow. I called them at ###-###-#### and found out that the class costs 80$ for 8 classes. Children can skate as much as they would like on the day of class during open skate. Also otherwise skate rental is 3$.

Check out the Galleria as well. Valley View used to offer ice skating lessons. I bet Galleria still does.
my brother put his first grader in at Stars Center Plano at Coit and Plano Pkwy...he grew up playing little league hockey and my dad coached for years in another state...
seemed happy with the program...don't know much else.
My 6 year old daughter and her 4 year old friend both LOVE the new Community Ice Rink in Allen. It's just off 75 on Stacy. The ice is maintained much better than any other rink I have seen in the area. It makes it so much easier to skate when the ice is smooth! They have a fabulous set of classes inclucing a 4 class "minimester" that is only $55. The price includes the 4 classes, skates and 8 additional skate passes. ###-###-####
