Yeah, that's me. It is worse once menopause sets in. I swear, if I don't look at the calendar, I don't know what day it is...

They say you lose brain cells when you lose your placenta - mommy brain. Menopause brain must be from losing estrogen!

I have a notebook that I use. I use one page each week and I fill it out on Sunday for the week. I just write the days of the week on it and what I need/want to do each day. Then I mark them off as accomplished! I also have a calendar for doc appts etc, but the notebook is used for even daily basic stuff - like what day I plan to grocery shop, go to the post office etc. It really keeps more organized and less stressed to see things written down and out of my head! LOL!

my calandar, 2 planners, and my "lists of lists as the hubby calls them. LOL! I am OCD type organized! I have always been a really anally organized person, but in my defense it has gotten worse since 2006 - 2009. I have had 6 major strokes, so I have some pretty bad short term memory loss, and have even started to have some long term memory loss. Without these things I may not remember anything!! ;)

Maybe I should utilize my calendar, lol. I'd be lost without my mom calling me every time there's a birthday to remind me to call one of my 8 siblings/sibling-in-laws. I'm really good about appts. though. I know that the kids have a teeth cleaning on Oct. 29th, lol.

I have my calendar at work synced with my phone. I have reminders on there for EVERYTHING. Birthdays are automatically recurring, dentist, doctor, meetings, holidays, vacations, kids practices, games - everything. My ex used to laugh at me b/c my phone reminder would even go off to pick up the kids from something (church, practice, etc.) that how could I forget about them? It's not that I would forget (ok, maybe its possible), but then I know I have 15 minutes to finish up or get ready to get them.

It is truly my lifeline and I would be completely lost without it!

My google calendar on my iphone has replaced my feeble brain. It's saved me a few times.
