I Reselling Diamonds?

I have some PGE employee service pins, belt buckle, etc that were my Dads. The ones for longer service have diamonds in them and one I think is set in white gold. Very small but seem larger than chips. I'm not going to wear them as is and am wondering what to do with them. Doesn't seem to be a huge market for them on EBay.....Any ideas? Wondering if it would be practical to have something made with them or sell them whole.....They are just sitting around.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I stopped by a local jeweler that has a great reputation in our town. The designer said she could take the three diamonds in the corners and make a small pendant or a charm could be made of the whole thing. Since I have no affiliation or desire to advertise PG&E I think I'll chose the pendant ;-). I've looked at EBay and just haven't seen any of them going for the $60 mentioned. Maybe my serach is off but I like the idea of a small pendant. It could be paired with another which is so popular these days.....Thanks Everyone!

If you want to have something new made out of them, Helzberg Diamonds has a "re-style" event twice a month or so and they will consult with you about what you want done, make a new design and even re-set the stones into new jewelry while you are there. I looked at their website and they have 4 stores in CA so hopefully one is close to you. I would check it out. I know the re-style event and consult is free. They do great work and are super friendly and I think their prices are good too.

Diamonds don't have a very good resale value (except for the large ones, of course), so if you have the money, why not have them made into something you'd enjoy?

You are going to find there is not the market for diamonds that there is for gold. Your best bet is Ebay.
