Hi,
Look at this website: www.hcgtnt.com I did this program and I know it works! I lost 27.6 lbs , and felt great while doing it!
I need to lose 15 pounds, I think my problem is I used to do construction cleaning and it was hard work, up and down stairs, scrubbing, up and down ladders, sweating, ect. Well know I work for an eye doctor and I sit all day. So there is part of my problem. I am starting to walk as often as my schedule allows. I need to eat better and I have no idea where to start. I dont feel I need to join a diet place if I can just implement good foods in my diet. I feel dumb when it comes to this part. I have not idea where to start and wish I could find a meal plan already done for me. Any help would be great, what foods should I be eating, what foods should I avoid...Is there a website to help with meal planning?
Hi,

I recently lost the remaining 15 LBS left over from my awesome baby. The best thing I can tell you is, instead of changing your diet at first, just cut down the portions. I realized after I got serious about losing weight that I was eating way more than necessary. I eat whatever I want, just not as much. I also started riding a bike 3 months ago. I started riding only 4 miles but now I am up to 20 miles easily. After I started riding my bike, the weight MELTED away. It's been awesome. Not only am I back to my pre-baby weight, I have some muscle tone that I never knew I could have!
God luck, and stay away from fad diets. They are a quick fix for a long term problem!
My husband and I are doing a program through the muscle and fitness magazine it started in July and runs for 3 months. So far I have already lost 8 lbs and feel great. We exercise 4 days a week (thats it) and eat healthy - everything is real food - smaller amounts and eating 6 times a day. You basically need to be eating on the outside aisles of the grocery store. We do a lot of different marinated meats grilled with rice and a vegetable- for dinner anyways. The magazine has recipe tips and menu tips too. I also suggest having a partner to exercise with - very helpful especially on those days when your not wanting to follow through. But I will tell you - you will feel amazing through the process and very pleased with the results.
Hope that helps!

Hi S.,
About 3 1/2 years ago, I lost 20 lbs. and have kept it off (w/in 3 lbs.) since then. I started doing meal replacement shakes (they are very easy to do, you don't have to spend so much time planning and the greatest thing? you NEVER feel like you are on a dreaded "diet"). It's great to get rid of that "red line" from your pants! I'd be happy to talk to you more about this, if you are interested. If so, send me a message and I will get back to you.
Hi, S.! Try www.sparkpeople.com. It's free and has pretty much all the resources you'd need for meal planning and tracking. It's a really motivational site and will help you get going. I'm totally where you are and understand how hard it is to just get started. Good luck!!
Have you heard of sparkpeople.com It is a wonderful site that gives you a menu, which you can alter, and it lets you decide everything. It provides a great support group as well. You can track weight loss or gain, calories consumed, water intake, measurements, exercise tracker, exercises, etc. It really is an awesome site and has helped me to start eating healtier and realize how that small little cookie was doing me in.
It's looks like you have some pretty good advice already. I would add that what you buy can help. Make a shopping list, and only buy what's on the list, and don't buy really processed foods if you can help it, like soda, chips, crackers, etc. Get your fruits and veggies and meats fresh, and don't make packaged dinners if you can help it. Then when you are at the store, only buy what's on the list. If your hubby wants chips or donuts or soda he can buy it himself. Instead of unhealthy ice cream toppings, have fresh fruit and limit your portion. It might help if you eat on a smaller plate, then fill it as much as you can. Drink lots of water throughout the day too, that's supposed to help. Exercise is also important, but you seem to have a lot of advice in that dept. already!
My husband and I started doing the Nike+iPod running program. I was SO reluctant to start running but this program eases you into it by walking five min, running 1 min and then increasing run/decreasing walk time to help build stamina and endurance. If you can continue to find time for your walks, you might give it a try. You don't need Nike shoes or even an iPod to do it but the iPod sure helps! I lost nearly all of my baby weight already but I really want to get in shape.
My husband has been doing it for five weeks now and has lost over 20 lbs. Plus, he is still eating what he likes, just less of it. It seems to be working well for him and although I will still eat more calories than him because of breast feeding, it feels good to start getting in shape.
Best of luck to you!!
Hey i have the same problem but i need to lose 20lbs..Are you losing weight for you or someone else? I think my hubby is hinting at me to go to the gym and lose weight he says that it's for my health but I don't know if I believe him..It sorta frustrats me and makes me feel unattractive..But anyways where do you live? Maybe we can be exercise buddies or something so we can motavate each other..
