Hey Moms this question is for me to help my cousin she is 7-8 months pregnant. When she was 5 months pregnant she was put on strict bed rest. Which means she had to stop working. Her husband just recently severly injured his hand, which means he can't work either. He is a mechanic. This is the first baby for them after 3 miscarriages, and at 4 months my cousin had planned out all paychecks until her due date. All the money would cover all bills and now no money is coming in. She is on Medicaid and WIC, can someone tell me where else I can tell her to go for food and money help. I would tell her to go to my aunt and uncle but he is in very bad health they have two other college age kids living at home and bills of their own. Any advice for me to pass on would help alot thanks.

What can I do next?

The angel food ministries site is great! We ordered for some friends of ours who have been in a tough situation. There was so much food there, and it was all great food too (steaks, fajita meat, etc). It's a really whole lot of food for only $25.

Have her dial 211, just like 911 except they will provide her with a list of numbers in her area that can provide assistance in her part of town. You can also contact Catholic Charties in Fort Worth

I was also going to mention 211. You can look it up online too @ http://www.hhsc.state.tx.us/tirn/tirnhome.htm. I hope they get the help that they need & that the new baby is healthy. Good luck!
