I am looking for a new OB/GYN that knows about and can help with hormones and postpartum issues. Does anyone have a good one? My doctor was great through my pregnancy with my daughter, but after I had her he was no help at all. Now I'm looking to get pregnant again and would like someone who can help me not only with the pregnancy, but also with afterwards! Any input would be great! I would prefer that he/she delivers at the new hospital in Murray. Thanks!

I would recommend a midwife. They are so much more helpful when you need information. I saw Julie Jones her office is right across from Cottonwood Hospital and delivers at IMC. I found midwives in my last to pregnancys to be so much more than the doctors in my first two pregnancies. I would always recommend a midwife!

I am going to third the Stephen Terry suggestion. I was referred to him, adored him and have since met many women who also use and love him. I will do my best to deliver with him again no matter what it takes. I also love his main nurse Cindy, she is a sweetheart. I was totally against having a man but tried him out and am glad I did. He made me feel so excited over my son as though it was the 1st and only baby he was dealing with.

I would recommend trying one of the docs at the Western OB/GYN clinic. The clinic is located at the old Cottonwood Hospital physicians tower, but all the doctors deliver at the new hospital or at St. Marks... Dr. Sue Anders or Dr. Jane Bowman. They are both super responsive, before, during and after pregnancies and they have great nurses too. The # is ###-###-####. Good Luck!!

I go to the nurse midwives at the IMC (the new hospital in Murray). They were the greatest. After I had Amelia they helped me with my fears of being a new mom, my problems with breastfeeding, ect. I think they are so much better then an OB and they really care. I love DeDe, she is my favorite over there, but they are all great.

Dr. Stephen Terry was my first doc. I had to change docs because of a change in my hubby's insurance but I wish I could see Dr. Terry. He was very good at listening and he helped me a ton with my baby blues. And he delivers at the new hospital. I highly recommend him.

I am not sure where you live, but if you are in Utah county, because your husband's at BYU, I would suggest the Mt. Timpanogas Women's Clinic. They were wonderful when I had my first child. Good luck!
