I had a C-section 15 months apart. We were not trying and it was a surprise. My doctor does VBAC's, and I really wanted one, however, they said they did not recommend it so close together. They want the pregnancies 2 years apart to do it. I still wanted to try, but my husband was nervous and talked me out of it. When I went for my C-section, they found my uterus to be basically paper thin, which meant had I done the VBAC, I probably would have ruptured for sure. So, I am not sure if your doctor will let you VBAC so close together. However, recovery time was no different, maybe like 2 days longer. Still felt great 1 1/2 weeks later. Good luck with whatever you choose and if you are pregnant, enjoy your blessing! Just think what great friends your little ones will be!

Congrats if you are pregnant.......Be sure to get on the internet and make yourself VERY informed about ALL the procedures before you talk to your doctor............that way you can have a very good conversation and make an educated decision along with the doctor.....

Take care and good luck.

First and foremost, you need to find out FOR SURE if you are truly pregnant. Have you taken and HPTs? If you have not, please do. If it comes up negative, go see your doctor. S/he can give you a blood test to tell you if you are pregnant even if an HPT shows up negative.

You are putting the cart before the horse here. You may be having an anovulatory cycle (no eggs were released) or due to stress, you may have ovulated late. (I once ovulated a week later than I typically did due to stress).

If you do end up being pregnant, yes, you can have a another c-section. It depends on the way that your incision was made and repaired for you to be a candidate for a vbac though. You can call your OB anytime to get this information. It is yours, you don't need to be pregnant to ask for it.

Good luck.
