I had a C-section 15 months apart. We were not trying and it was a surprise. My doctor does VBAC's, and I really wanted one, however, they said they did not recommend it so close together. They want the pregnancies 2 years apart to do it. I still wanted to try, but my husband was nervous and talked me out of it. When I went for my C-section, they found my uterus to be basically paper thin, which meant had I done the VBAC, I probably would have ruptured for sure. So, I am not sure if your doctor will let you VBAC so close together. However, recovery time was no different, maybe like 2 days longer. Still felt great 1 1/2 weeks later. Good luck with whatever you choose and if you are pregnant, enjoy your blessing! Just think what great friends your little ones will be!
