I LOVE Mamasource! I enjoy spending 20-30 minutes each morning sifting through the "Recent Posts" for the last 24 hours. I give advice on a few, occasionally ask a question myself, and LEARN a TON through other moms posts that I read.
I LOVE the fact that it's local. I can find out more about local parks, businesses, services, schools, etc.
My Question: Are there any other sites like this that I'm missing?
Cool that you like Mamasource. I will say, I am quite frustrated in that the last dozen or so times that I ask a question, it NEVER goes into the daily digest and therefore I never get any mom responses. It has now turned into a place that I can no longer seek advice from.
I have contacted the customer relations people and they claim to not have any idea why my questions wouldn't show up. I am skeptical.
I have also heard about ArlingtonParent.com - maybe you'll find some good stuff there. Also I participate in Burbmom.net. It is more like a blog but it has tons of helpful suggestions for moms, reviews of local spots for families, and articles about parenting and family!
