I Know I Said I Would Let This Go, But...

I have another pregnancy related question/concern. May be TMI for the dads...

I have (to the best of my ability) stopped obsessing over TTC. I DID say that I would wait at least a month before taking another test but a few things have happened and I had to do it.

First, I still have not had my period and I am getting concerned. My IUD was removed in April and still no AF. Also, for the past week I have been experiencing severe headaches and lots of cramping, and clear discharge. The cramping is mild to moderate throughout the day but has not gone away for a week or so. However, this cramping is very intesnse during sex and I actually had to ask my husband to stop because I was in so much pain last night. How am I supposed to make a baby if it hurts to have sex?

I took another HPT and it came up negative. I am frustrated and concerned.

I have scheduled an appointment with my doctor but I would love to hear from others who may have experienced something like this in the mean time.

Does anyone know if this is normal?

Thank you in advance.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I don't have a fever and feel ok besides these symptoms.

I will keep up with my prenatals and keep hydrated. We will wait to see the doctor before we try having sex again.

Thank you for your advice.

I never had an IUD but your body needs time.

The pain is NOT normal. So you do need to see your doctor sooner rather than later.

STOP TRYING TO MAKE A BABY!! You are NOT having sex for fun. You are STILL thinking about having and making a baby - your body is going to fight you on this. RELAX!! Have fun!!

I know it's hard. I have been in your shoes trying to conceive ONE...I know what it's like to WANT it SOOO bad. Especially knowing I COULD get pregnant and carry to term!! It was SOOOOO frustrating. But PLEASE - stop.

I truly hope you see your doctor soon for the pain!!

Good luck!!

I had the mirena IUD and it took almost three months before I got my period back and then it was really irregular. My ob/gyn when removing it said if I didn't get regular I would have to go on medicine to help my cycles. I had cramps and just didn't feel good for a few months after its removal. I don't think my body liked the hormones. I got it removed almost two years ago and just got pregnant, not that we were trying to get pregnant.
