That is awesome! Thanks for sharing! That is most encouraging!
I posted throughout the fall about one mean bully mom and a few others that were going out of their way to be rude and exclude people at school. It got so bad a teacher had to intervene when I calmly stood up to the meanest, critical mom. Well, I followed your advice. I remained mostly calm, did not talk about her(except on here), kept being as gracious and normal as possible, avoided the group with meetings where the cattiness occurs, and took the high road. I also let her see me being friends with other moms so she knew I was not all alone and an easy target.
I invited her child to a party for mine even though I dreaded the thought of her starting drama. Well, it turns out her child was not invited by anyone else so he was touched and feels liked so she melted. We chitchatted for 20 minutes. I think the awkwardness will be gone when I volunteer and I won't have to experience anymore made up drama.
Kudos to you nice mamas with good, practical advice. I truly appreciate you.

wow, awesome, nice to know people Can graduate from High School Drama ( not meaning you but meaning her) I wonder if she had some sort of defense thing going? Go slow and take it easy! But i'm hoping for the best for you!
Kay, so glad you had a good outcome. You sound like a wonderful lady!

good for you for taking the high road - I think this will also be a great life lesson for your child too :-)
Good for you! It is so hard not to be sucked into reacting and instead setting your own tone! You will be a good role model for everyone and have given her child such a gift! How sad for him to be excluded because of his Moms antics.
Yea! I hope it continues to go this well.. Who knows maybe she will learn a lesson from this..
Good Job Kay! Thats wonderful to hear!!!
