Must do...at Epcot....pick a pearl. The get to pick an oyster (FYI..the ugliest oysters usually have the prettiest pearls) and they get to keep the pearl. If you go to ebay...you can get a princess carriage setting for it for a few dollars. Makes a great souviener.

Try these links. I didn't look back on them, but hopefully they'll have something in them that you can use.

Oh, and with your kids' ages, I wouldn't do the dining plan. It is really expensive, especially since you are expected to pay the tip in cash. The Disney union was able to get that passed - it can't be used against your dining card anymore. Plus, little kids can't possibly eat all that food, and it's overkill.

Instead, eat cereal and fruit in the room for breakfast. You can have milk in the hotel frig. If you are staying at Disney, you can order food - look up ordering groceries for Disney online - bring some plastic spoons and bowls in your suitcase. If they can eat peanut butter, make peanut butter sandwiches for lunch and pack in sixpack soft coolers. I'd bring an umbrella stroller for the little one and hang all your stuff on it. Even if she's not sitting in it all the time, it will really help you.

Then eat dinner somewhere nice. You will save a ton of money.

Have fun!

Have you checked out http://www.disboards.com/ ? It's a message board geared toward disneyworld, disneyland, disney cruises, etc. They post very helpful information and sometimes include pictures. You can also ask the above questions there.

Have fun! :)

REmember on the dining plan that it behooves you to really research (like you are!) restaurants and reserve ahead. The thing is you will be charged a 'sit down' dinner whether or not you are at the ESPN restaurant and all get sandwiches as you would the steak houses. We made the mistake of using our credits at ESPN for what was like a $60 tab. So make sure you get the bang for the buck on this.

We also would pay cash for breakfast as it is the cheapest usually. Then use quickservice for lunch.

If your kids are little they can split a quick service. So can you and your husband a lot of times.

Make sure to hit the free soda place at Epcot-soda machines with soft drinks from around the world.

I loved the big Disney sites with forums. Those people live and breath Disney so you can get really great info. They also have all of the menus to help you plan where to eat.

Lastly-make a plan but be flexible. Nothing ruins a vacation like too much planning. Disney can be overwhelming to both adults and children. So its a good thing to have a gameplan but realize that there is no harm going off of it. Although wyou would LIKE to see and do everything a good time is more important. If you are rushing from one thing to another your kids will feel that stress.

I suggest going onto all ears.net and view the menus. It really depends on what you want. Prime time 50's in Hollywood is always fun as is Sci Fi dinner theatre in Hollywood studios. Quick service meals are usually hamburgers, hot dogs, mchicken tenders (which are excellent). If you are at Epcot they would be different. I would plan dinners and just wing the quick service meals. Snacks are snacks. Water, cookies, ice cream, soda or juice.
Bibbity bobbity salon is a mustnfor all little girls if you don't mind spending

the money. Something they will remember. At least the six year will.
Whispering canyon cafe for breakfast is the best. The kids will love it. My favorite and I am ooooh 62!
At four they remember the pool lol! Have fun.

to do
let the photographers take photo's of you all over disney world. they always have perfect backgrounds etc. it doesn't cost for them to take the photos and you can look at what you want to buy later when you get home.

stay and watch as many of the parades as you can. they are a blast.

don't do
get up at the crack of dawn to be in line before the park opens. its nuts lol. sleep in, get a good breakfast and plan to take a rest mid day. we always ate our big meal mid day so that we could walk it off later.

to do: go to old town while your in orlando. our kids love it. its a tourist trap but its fun. has shops, entertainment, rides etc. its free except for the rides.

I love eating breakfast at the Floridian for the character breakfast. By far the best Charaxter breakfast in Disney. We do not even stay at the hotel but make a point of going every year. Awesome food and characters you do not see all around the park. As for quick service meals , we do not eat at those. We stop at Publix and get sandwhich meats etc and go back to the hotel mid day for lunch and down time at the pool. The steak place at wilderness lodge is really good for dinner. They put on a little show for the kids. Get them invovled. We also do the campgrounds restuarants. The food isnt the best anymore (it use to be) but after we take their buses down tothe campground for the movie and marshmellows. The kids love it. The liberty tavern also has some great food in Magic Kingdom.

I haven't used the dining plan.

Just some info....

You can bring food into the park. So even if you're planning using the dining plan, bring along a snack in case of long lines.

In the gift shops at the hotels are mini convenience stores. You can pick up bread, milk, etc. If you're not big breakfast eaters, you can eat breakfast in your room.

If you're girls like "Finding Nemo", go see the show. It's fantastic!!!!!
