So What Happened?

Thanks to all who were so kind to give me advice. I am on the road to recover. I have been taking Robitussin Cough & Cold and alternating with Tylenol. It seems to have worked.

I recently had a cold after I came home from birth of my son. My 3.5 y.o. also had a cold, but no ear infection and he had the same symptoms. You're best bet is to go see your OB or your doctor. My ob prescribed me amoxicillin antibiotic because I had a red throat and both ears were red. Plus for coughing, runny nose, stuffy nose, I took Robitussin Cough & Cold. Both meds for 7 days.

You should call your obgyn or your pedeatrition. They both can tell you what is safe to take. The only advice I can give you is DO NOT take anything with efedrine, like clartin D, it can turn into morphine in brest milk. That is what my doc told me. So before you take anything you should really call your doc. And don't worry about sounding silly too them, they hear lots of things that you and I wouldn't even think about asking. My pedeatrition taught my a better way to breastfeed, because my daughter spit up blood. It turned out it was from me and I didn't even notice I bled. I hope this info helps.
