I don't think i am pregnant because i have had my period every month but now my breast are swollen and hurt even at the slighest touch. I have no idea why they have never done this before and as much as i would like to have a child now is not the time. What else could this mean? Could i be pregnant even though i have my period ever since this started? I am at a lost.

You can be pregnant even if you are bleeding. it seems you could be pregnant or it's from your period. Good luck

My friend had "periods" for all of the months throught 2 different pregnancies! Get the blood test and see your OB/GYN. Have you ever seen the show "I didn't know I was pregnant"? TLC

You should go see your Gynecologist. They can diagnose what is going on. My other question is are there women in your life who are close to you who just had or are having a baby? My best friend started lactating when I was pregnant with my son. She thought it was a bad infection at first (she has breast implants) and then the Gynecologist told her she was lactating - essentially had mentally turned herself into a literal wet nurse - and gave her some pills to dry it up and fix her hormone level and then she was fine.

well, if it will help my case, i didnt think i could get pregnant, but here i am bigger than a houseboat. first off,
if you think you might be pregnant than you need to do a
pregnancy test. then , if you need to get yourself to the doctor whether you test positive or not, you test positive,
well you are probably pregnant,if not, then you might have
cycts or small growths or your reproductive organs, either way get your little self to the doctor.sensitive boobies
can mean either cycts or pregnancy , hell it could even be
a bra that doesnt fit right

Ok yeah you could be. With my first daughter I was 16 and so lost anyway but I was a couple days late the first month but thought nothing of it because I did get my period. I bled regularly every month however I was exhausted achy etc I had full blood panels done no less than 5 times that pregnancy before I had weird cramps and someone ordered a ultrasound to check my appendix instead they found a 30 week fetus. My daughter was born healthy 6 weeks later.

In subsequent pregnancies (4) I have never once gotten a positive result from a pregnancy test and only once from a blood test at the drs. With my 1st boy 5 years ago a nurse came barging the room saying I wasn't pregnant luckily we were listening to the babys heartbeat at the time.

My last 2 were homebirths so I followed my own instincts rather than listening to some dr trying to solve the mystery of me. It was wonderful.

Good luck

The only sure way to know is to have a pregnancy test done. My sister-in-law had periods for the first 5 months of her pregnancy.

I had this happen to me in my mid 20's- I had major breast sensitivities all throughout my cycle to the point that I didn't want anyone to hug me and walking up and down stairs hurt SO much. I stopped my oral birth control, went to gyn's and even a breast specialist. they all told me nothing was wrong, I was having hormonal surges for no apparent reason. I was not pregnant for sure. I even stopped eating meat and chicken that was treated with hormones (bought all natural or free-range meats)Well, oddly enough- after a few years it stopped. I don't recall when or why, but it just did. It really affected my lifestyle and I feel for you if you are as tender as I was. I am 32 now and have not had breast tenderness again until I became pregnant 2 yrs ago.
Good luck

Hi

It is unlikely that you are pregnant as you are having normal/regular periods. Are the sore breats the only concern you have? Are they sore all the time? Try and keep track of when they are sore , you may find that it ties in with when you are ovulating or your period is due. Or if there are other issues that you are concerned about then see your Dr to put your mind at rest.

Good luck

I dont know how old you are but I had a similar issues about a yr ago. i am 28 and the doc told me that my hormones were changing due to my age. she said it happens several times through out the course of life before menopause. they changed my birth control pills to solve my problem and it has worked ever since. Mine were so sore at least 3 weeks our of the month that it was painful even if someone accidently bumped in to me. I am sure there are other causes as well but that seems to be what my doc thought was most common.

Are you on birth control? I would take a pregnancy test or get checked out at your OBGYN. I've heard of women who bleed or think they are getting their periods while they are pregnant. It could be possible. Or if you aren't maybe the doctor would have an explanation for the tenderness.

Good Luck either way!
