Hmmmm, this week has been very interesting. I've been with my husband for almost 25 YEARS and just found out he likes JUMBO EGGS and not large eggs. (I always bought large eggs because recipes are calibrated for large eggs.)
I also found out a friend of mine LOVES KC and the Sunshine Band.
I HAD NO IDEA. I know it's nothing shocking or scandalous but I was caught off guard.
Anybody else have this happen?
He bought jumbo eggs and was trying to fit them on the door. I commented on how BIG they were and he said "if I'm going to have an egg it should be BIG." I just laughed and shook my head. Ya learn something new everyday!
Okay, well I beg to differ...there IS something scandalous about Jumbo eggs! ;) My husband loves them too and basically refuse to buy them b/c of the recipe thing, as you mentioned, and because they slightly freak me out! He buys them when he goes shopping and I don't complain, but I prefer my "dainty" large eggs!
lol Your husband probably saw the Jumbo eggs for the first time and figured bigger is better. Tell him you feel the same way about diamonds.. If you are going to recieve diamond jewelry, it should at least be a BIG diamond!
He was trying to fit eggs on the door??! What does this mean? You should try duck eggs. They're big!
EDIT: oh, I get it, in the egg holders in the fridge. Lol. I was picturing them on the front door. Lol.
I found out my dad doesn't really care for bell pepper HAHA, that is my fave thing to cook with so I started cutting back on them (I cook for them so they eat healthier)
On the flip side, my mom always forgets that I despise onions like throw up on smell despise lol

I used to do a lot of my husband's clothes shopping for him. Just got too busy and he started coming home with red shirts! I had usually bought blue. He never told me for over 20 years that red was his favorite color.
Yes! My best friend had a photo shoot with a friend of hers--she'd gotten this really trendy haircut and was wearing this really swanky outfit, and I couldn't figure out how to ask her, "Is this you?"--because it's ok if it is, really, but I have this other image in my head of you, and I should know if I need to adjust it! I think she was a little offended when I tried to ask that question, but to me, the photos were so shocking--she looked great, but just not how I was used to her looking!What she ultimately told me was that she glammed up for a photo shoot for a friend's hairstyling website, so no, it's not normally her...but yeah, what a surprise!
Haha, my hubby and I were married for about 4 years before I knew he LIKES broccoli. Somehow I got it in my mind when we were dating that he didn't like it, so I NEVER bought or cooked with it. Then one day out of the blue a few years ago, he goes, "How come we never eat broccoli?" I said, "Because you don't like it." And he laughed and said Yes I do! So funny! So we eat it a few times a month now!
Sorry, but not really! I am surprised he didn't mention it before now, all this time you have been buying large eggs....Did he just not want to tell you or did he finally got fed up of large eggs, lol
