It was just recommended by our family dentist that our son should have an orthodontic consult done. The dentist gave me the cards for three orthodontists in Parker---20 Mile Orthodontics, Jeffrey Collins at Parker Orthodontics and Cassy Wiggins at Summit Orthodontics. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on which orthodontist to choose?

What can I do next?

My daughter has been seeing Cassy Wiggins at Summit for 2 years now and we absolutely LOVE her!!!! The staff are great also. She has to have braces but not until she's 12 so we have a while to go she's only 10 but a year ago she had to have a permanent retainor put on. They were amazing. I could keep going on about Cassy and her staff we just really love them all. Good luck and best wishes to you and your son.

I don't know these orthodontists, but I can give you feedback about several in Aurora, if you are interested.

We had to choose fairly recently. We ended up having multiple consults and interviews until I was comfortable with our choice. We were weighing a number of factors including the doctor's experience, recommended approach, and personality, ease of working with the office, location, finances, etc. I discounted the first one we saw because I truly felt he was not qualified. Another I really liked and felt very confident about, but his office was located far enough away that I was concerned about getting to appointments, or any emergency situations. A third I also really liked and would recommend (a pediatric dentist AND orthodontist all in one), as well as a fourth whom we chose, and with whom we are very happy.

Not sure where you live, but we have loved Beaber Orthodontics. You can check out their website at http://www.beaber4braces.com. They have several locations. We choose them when we went in for a second opinion after the firsth ortho's office was fairly unfriendly and then recommended headgear for out (then 8) daughter. Beaber uses newer techniques, is very informed, has kids himself, and the office staff has consistently been warm, friendly and made our family feel very welcome.

I highly, highly recommend them!

I know people who are patients of all these practices and have been very happy.

Best route is to check your insurance benefits - that might narrow your decision. Also, make an appt and see which doc and office staff you like the best. They may offer different opinions regarding what treatment they recommend. This would affect your decision as well.

How well I like the office staff is very important to me since they are the ones I interact with the most.

Good luck to you!
