So What Happened?

I got a job yesterday! I start tomorrow nov. 4th! It's pretty cool too..a little different than what I did. It's not administrative like i'm used to..but it's in the HVAC industry and I know that pretty well. It's a marketing position and I will travel to 3 different home depots and educate people on A/C and heating systems:) I'm excited! Thanks to everyone for thier kind words:) I guess being unemployed for only 1 week is a blessing!

I'm not sure of any jobs but careerbuilder.com or hotjobs.com or jobing.com or monster.com are super websites for job postings. You might check with the unemployment office too.

Good luck! I'm sure you will find something quickly.

Try lots of resources: internet, churches, schools (aides, etc), temp agencies...

I would also suggest you call the Dallas Bar Association for free legal advice (pro bono). http://www.dallasbar.org/

You might also try to find a financial planner/counselor who can help you figure out what to do about your house before the situation becomes worse, because you wouldn't want to lose it. http://www.cccs.net/ (not sure this is the best place, but you could start with them)

I'm so sorry you're in this situation, and I wish you the best...there are many churches and Christians who can help you in various ways, and also help your son...I encourage you to find a church. There is nothing wrong with seeking support at such a difficult time. God bless you.

I am so sorry to hear that.... I don't know of any jobs, but I'm sure you'll get some info from here.

Is there any chance you can reconcile? Counselling?

I'll keep you in prayer.

I just got a flier on my door from a northeast Dallas company looking to fill full and part time positions.
There is no job description but it is for Kirby of North Dallas, apparently they are some sort of carpet cleaning/prodcut/machine. I think I havr heard of them before, up there with the Rainbow. Anyway, if interested call ###-###-####.
