Hurts My Chest When I Sneeze!

Hi moms. I have a wierd question!
I went in to have my gallbladder removed about 3 months ago. Of course they put you out and put a tube down your throat. When I woke up my throat was super sore, but felt better after a day or two. What has not felt better though is sneezing! When I take a deep breath my lungs/chest hurts, so you can imagine that when I have to inhale deep to sneeze it hurts too. It's not "killing" me, but it makes me sit up really straight and "open" up my chest (I don't know if that makes sense).
Has anyone else had surgery and felt like this after? How long did you feel like that? or, ideas on why this is happening....maybe it has nothing to do with the surgery!
thanks

What can I do next?

I've got to agree with Linda. You should not have respiratory discomfort of any kind caused by the endo-tube used in surgery. Sounds more likely that you have a chest cold, if you need to 'open' your chest and doing so hurts. Junk in the lungs isn't cool, momma. Go let your doc have a listen to your chest.

Google Pleurisy! I have had it before and the symptoms you describe sound like it. It is treated very easily treatable with am antibiotic.

No, I really think you should talk to your doctor. Whether it's from the surgery or not, that's not normal. It's always easier to treat anything the sooner you catch it.
Best wishes!! :)

Any surgery brings the risk of a blood clot. They can be painful for a very long time. You need to see your doctor to rule it out.

Could be constipation or some soreness from surgery? Call your Dr.s nurse and give symptoms. Hopefully they can diagnose over the phone. Hope you feel better. =(^_^)=
