Just taste a little of it. Some things last a lot longer than what you think. I would stir it up good first.
I am not a regular hummus eater... therefore not sure how long it stays good once opened in the fridge. I'm having a get together and would like to serve hummus on Wed night. I have a large container in the fridge (sun dried tomato Sam's Club) that I opened a month ago... Is it still good and safe to serve?
There is no expiration date or comment on the package on how long it is good for after opening. THANKs Moms!!!
In the trash it goes.... thanks!

I wouldn't serve my guests anything that had been open for a month in my fridge. You wouldn't want to take any chances and besides you'd rather serve them something that will still taste good and fresh. What you have now may have been affected by other odors in the fridge and bacteria growth.
I've always heard that hummus is good for up to 1 week after it's been opened. Since you are serving it to other people I would go the safer route and just buy a new package.
Mmmm. I love hummus! I usually pitch the leftovers after a week though. I wouldn't serve it to your guests if it's been in the fridge for a month.
Get fresh for company. Torn up flat bread works well to dip in it.
My husband loves hummus and is always buying it...Sams does have really good ones! I would throw it away and purchase a new container. Aq

A month is a little bit to long to keep it. Throw it away and get a new container.
