Hi All,

I have got few stains on my mattress over the time period of last 6-20 months.. Its is mainly because of my baby co-sleeping with me on the same mattress... Sometimes its his water sipper leaking, or daiper leaking and the worst is he threw out while having his bottle on it. I did lean after after that but it has still yellow kind of stains left on it.
Does anyone know how to get rid of these tough stains without affecting the outer fabric of the mattress.
Thanks all in advance!!!!

What can I do next?

I would try a small steam cleaner like they make for carpets, and than I would put a water proof protector over it at least until the baby is out of your bed.

There is an upholstery cleaner available at many hardware stores called Rosenthal's. It's really cheap. I've found it to be the best for puke stains and water stains. For the leaking diaper stains, I would probably use Nature's Miracle, which I buy at the pet store.

A natural (& cheaper) option would be to use vinegar and baking soda- this will cut the acidity of any urine stain, as well. Saturate the stain with vinegar then blot as much as possible out. Top with baking soda (overnight if possible) and then vacuum off. The vinegar smell will go away after a while, so don't worry. You could do a quick search online as well if you need more detailed info. Good luck!
