How to Get Rust Stains Out of a Plastic Tub?

Two houses that I clean have identical bathtubs. It is a semi-textured plastic tub on the bottom. Both have bad rust stains and I cannot get them out. I have tried bleach solvent and CLR to no avail. Anyone have a secret they'd like to share?

What can I do next?

I know this is late, but for some reason baking soda works good. If they are extra tough, make a paste with baking soda and salt then rub it on.

I would try a Magic Eraser by Mr. Clean. I love those things. Just don't press too hard, you don't want to scratch the plastic. Good Luck!

You may want to try Rid Iron or possibly The Works. They both work on contact for me.

I'm sure you'll get better responses, as the only thing I can tell you is that I had rust in my sink that I couldn't get out with CLR, but for some reason I tried Lime Away and it worked. Good luck!
