I know you don't have cradle cap, but when my son had it and was all flaking and dry our doctor told us to put olive oil on his head an hour before a bath/shower. you may have to wash with shampoo twice depending on how much hair you have. I hope you find something that helps.

There are shampoos with pine tar that help. You can get the shampoo at beauty supply stores. I would use a little of that first then follow with a regular shampoo sometimes.

Have you tried a leave in conditioner? Pantene has a nice one.

I highly recommend the Arbonne Intelligence Daily, Self-Adjusting Shampoo with Tea Tree Oil. It's the natural choice for combating a dry, flaky scalp, this super-charged blend works to help hair shine while eliminating annoying, dry scalp.

I have a sample if you'd like to try it.

If you rub vinegar into your scalp & then rinse, it should work. I know it sounds weird, but I have read articles that say it takes out all the residue & buildup from other shampoos/conditioners. See link below for more info on dandruff & home remedies. Good luck, S.
