My grandchildren love to eat frozen yogurt like ice cream and yes it freezes very well. Just stir when you thaw it before eating it.
Cheese freezes very well also, esp. grated cheese .
I need to freeze dairy for a few weeks. Can I put my yogurt containers that I buy at the grocery store directly in the freezer, if yes, just container as is, or need to cover? Also, will the yogurt taste the same as it did before freezing?
Thank You

I have, the only really difference is that it can be a little watery when it thaws. I would wrap them if it is going to be more than a few weeks.
You can also just put them in a large ziploc bag to protect them in addition to the regular container. Thaw them as you eat them and you will want to thoroughly mix them. Taste wise they should be fine.
Yep -just put them in as-is! Now, I don't like "unthawed" yogurt, so I always eat mine frozen (just slightly thawed for softness). I can't tell you if it tastes fine completely thawed, but I can't imagine it wouldn't.
