How to Clean Dusting Spray off of Laminate Wood Floors?

My daughter was helping me dust, and she must have sprayed too much spray-- there is now a very slippery spot on my laminate wood floors, and it is in a high traffic area. Is there any product that can clean this and take away the slipperiness? Damp cloths have not worked.

What can I do next?

H.P. I clean houses for a living and using vinegar and water with just a little of Dawn dish soap should cut that slippery film. After it dries then you might go over it one more time with just half water and half vinegar mixture. Hope that helps!

I dilute simple green, with water and damp mop with it once a quarter or when have spills. Just dont get floors too wet and use a towel to dry them faster!

you might use kitchen counter cleaner to break down the oil and then damp mop or do your regular floor routine. just watch out on anything to harsh that would damage the finish. you could also try vinegar and/or baking soda.
good luck,

vinegar cleans everything. I use it most in my laundry to eliminate the soap residue in clothes, so it should work on your floor.
