We spilt cooking oil on our concrete patio. Is there a way to pull up the stain?

What can I do next?

Scrub with a hard bristled brush and dish soap. If that doesn't do it, a pressure washer will get it up.

baking soda, baby powder, kitty liter, sawdust. Something to soak the oil up.

Then power washing with liquid detergent maybe?

As a last resort only.....muratic (sp?) acid. You can get it at the hardware store. You have to be SUPER careful with it and can NOT mix it with any other chemical....especially bleach.

My mom used to clean the cement patio and sidewalks with it.

It is also used to clean garage floors before they are painted or epoxied.
