OK, so it's Monday which is nobody's favorite, right? Well, to make mine just a little bit better, I remembered after getting to work this morning (& not doing much in the way of hair/make-up) that I had to go across the base at 11:20 to get my picture taken for an award I won. I got lost on the way because they moved the building that the photo lab used to be in so I was late & then the front bumper fell completely off of my Jeep & I ran it over & it got stuck in between the tire & the body of the car. Now, luckily there were 2 airmen walking by who saw it happen & helped me gather up the pieces of plastic after I backed up over it again & threw it all in the back of the truck. Then, after finally finding the correct building & going to get a shiny-faced-fuzzy-haired picture taken for all to see for the next 3 months, I tripped on my way out of the building & skinned a 3 inch section of my forearm. Had to text my husband & tell him the saga also & then hear him mildly freak out about how he's going to fix this, too, now. I did manage to calm him down after a little bit of poking fun at the situation.
OK, now, I admit in re-telling this story that it does sound amusing. I can even giggle a little bit at it myself. With that being said, I still consider this an even MORE below-average Monday than usual.
So, how's your day going??
My day was going really well (pretty productive too) until my work cell just rang and my 1:00 phone conference is now cancelled b/c 2 of my groupmates couldn't manage to get their s#*t together and get their part of the project completed- despite several reminders AND an extended deadline.
I guess my afternoon just opened up... time to house hunt!
Wow....what a day. I'm sorry you are having a day like today and that Hubby seems to think somehow you were to what...guess it's going to fall off?
I'm not having a BAD day perse. I'm in a lot of pain and it's hard to remain positive. I don't think I'd trade with you though :)
My day is much like yours... stuck under a little black raincloud ;)

So far mine is great! Hope yours gets better! I slept till 10, now I'm lying in bed with my three year old drinking strawberry/banana/coconut water smoothies and eating scrambled eggs while watching a movie (all food made by my husband!). Our six year old stayed the night at my sister in law's with her four boys to help out with the new twin babies. I have to get up soon and go to work, but can't complain about how the day is starting!
My day is Very Boring compared to yours !! LOL
