H Mamas
Did you feel pregnancy symptoms before your period was late and did a test ?
With my two I had terrible morning sickness which started at 4 weeks with the first and 6 weeks with the second.
I have terrible nausea, swore breasts, fatigue since yesterday but my period is not due for anther 10 days so no point doing a test.
Please don't laugh at my "Could I be pregnant question" lol
The funny thing is me and hubby have decided that we are happy with our two kids and my last question here was on birth control which I intend to start. Also it took us three long years to get preggers with our second so as life goes I am probably pregnant now.
All the best

Hope your hunch is true. I am also happy with my two kids and wondering also if I am pregnant at this moment. While I have the two children I have had 5 pregnancies. Many many months that I had that bloated, grumpy, yucky, breakout, sore boobs feeling I was so certain I was pregnant and was not! I truly developed "phantom pregnancy" and even got nauseated, but that stuff really is in your head if you are only a few days post conception. It never fails that the months I am pregnant I have none of those PMS/ pregnancy like symptoms before a missed period. But I have always had this one: frequent urination. The urge to pee even when there's not much to pee. Especially in the evenings, I go ever 5 and 10 minutes. This happens about 10 days before my missed period and about a week or so after conception ( or rather the sex that lead to conception) This is happening to me currently. Last month I was major bloated, grumpy, yucky even some bouts of nausea and took the early pregnancy test because " I just had a feeling". Ohhh I waste so much money with those darn early pregnancy tests. If only I could remember the lessons from my past- the less pregnant I feel before a missed period, the more the likelihood of a real pregnancy. But we are all so different.
I knew pretty much from implantation with both my kids. I'm very in tune with my body, and I knew felt it almost right away even with my first. I never had any nauseousness with him, but there were other signs, achy breasts mainly.
The 2nd time around, I was nursing my son (who was 2y 3m). I had very sore breasts, which made nursing painful, and I was nauseous for the first 3 months or so. I also remember feeling really run down even though I hadn't really done anything extra. Come to find out a week or so later: I was pregnant with my daughter :)
So, yes, you very well could be pregnant, so I'd hold off on that birth control for at least another 10 days :) Congrats if you are!
Yes, I had symptoms before I missed my period. Mostly, my breasts were sore and swollen, and I was having really weird dreams.
I knew I was pregnant with my second and third before I missed my period because I was craving tuna fish:). The typical pregnancy symptoms started at about 8 weeks.
With both of mine, I knew I was pregnant before I ever took the test. I guess that would mean that symptoms showed up at... 4 weeks? Or less?
Well, congrats, then? ;)
Do you know twice in my life I have had some flu that felt as close to being pregnant as humanly possible. Since I wasn't pregnant obviously it was a flu. Me and my kids are strange, we almost never run a fever, with viruses or infections.
Anyway, there is no way you can have any real symptoms until implantation which is usually more than a week after fertilization. Before that your body is simply unaware you are pregnant. So if you aren't due to have a period for ten days, and you are one of those in the middle of the cycle ovulaters, you either got pregnant a month ago and had a period anyway or the symptoms are something else.
Yeah, you will find a million people who will tell you they had symptoms at conception. Well I am here to tell you absent actual pregnancy those symptoms are either in your head or a flu.
With mine, I knew late. I never had any morning sickness. With my trips, I was told to expect to be really sick and possibly need meds to help. Nothing. I even told them I wasn't. With my next pregnancies, I missed the first trimester. However, with my 2nd I did have breast tenderness for about 2 weeks and just figured I would be getting a cycle (irregular all the time so never new when to expect), and then around the end of the 1st trimester I got sooooooo tired. I just thought it was stress. I had bloodwork done and that is when they told me. For my last one (third), I had other bloodwork done and they accidently did a preg test. I was already 11 1/2 weeks.
I "knew" a week before I was "late". I was exhausted by 8:00 at night, smells made me barfy and my breasts were so sore! I took a test that allowed you to get a result "one week earlier" and it was quickly positive!
Good luck- hope this ends the way you are hoping for!
Congrats, B.! (lol, if applies!)
I didnt really get symptoms til 6-8 weeks, but I was lucky and had a very typical and in eventful pregnancy...
