Hot Topic Question. Probably why you've not gotten alot of responses.
My answer to this is that no one actually knows what the full "truth" is until they are supposed to. So, in the meantime, man has created their own personal truth - people do what "works" for them - that's why people pick and choose things out of certain religions as it is.
There are too many religions in the world and its no one's place to say whether one is right or wrong. Because really? No one on this planet right now knows for sure what's the "truth".
I believe everyone should respect each other's beliefs. If you believe in Jesus, great. Or if you believe in Allah, great. Or, if you are an athiest, great. The general concept of all religions/beliefs/stances comes down to how you live your life and treat other people (in my opinion).
I am of the opinion that there is some sort of Creator. But who or what it is, I don't know - and I'll find out when I'm supposed to find out.
In the meantime, I live my life as a good person. Try not to judge, and treat people like I want to be treated.
So 12 years of Catholic Schooling, 4 years of Christian College, and what I am is Agnostic.
And I believe that to be my own personal truth.
