J.K.
She'll go through phases where she'll be more tired than others. If she's happy and healthy, then I wouldn't worry about it. My son does the same thing. Good luck!
We put our 11month old to bed by 8pm every night. She sleeps till 6:45 in the morning when I have to wake her up to go to work otherwise she would sleep till 8am. Lately, she only stays a wake 2-3 hours before going to sleep for a 2-3 hour nap. Is this normal? Is this a growth spurt? Teething?Or should I be concerned? When she is awake she seems happy but she still rubs her eyes a little like she's tired.

You may want to try putting her down early if you are consistently having to wake her up in the morning. I think at that age my son slept 12 hours at night 6-6 and then napped at 9 and 2 for about 2 hours each time.
Yes it is normal.
A baby, typically gets tired after about 2-3 hours of 'awake' time.
AND they nap, anywhere from 2-3 times a day at this age.
And at growth-spurts, they often sleep more. Because they are growing.
My son was and is like that.
Your baby is normal.
And sleeps very well.
You are lucky!

lucky lucky lucky you xevery mother dream to have a baby that likes to sleep. My son now is three and has always being an early riser.I day dream about sleep alL the time -LOL
yes this is normal, least from my experience, she is growing and her body needs food and sleep in order to grow. my daughter at that age would wakee up about 9am then after lunch time it was time for a 3-4 hour nap...don't worry too much
Totally normal. Most babies need between 12-15 hours of sleep, and most toddlers-preteens need about 12 (although most kids end up sleep deprived starting in K). Then puberty hits and everything goes bananas.
SOME babies seem to almost never sleep... and many others get set into "overtired" mode, and then can't sleep... others are colicky... others deal with ear infections. We HEAR a lot about the no-sleep babies, because their parents are desperate... but statistically speaking 12-15 is dead on "average". Honestly, even kids who don't 'sleep through the night' get an average of 12-15... they just do it in spurts. By about a year, though, many are doing a straight 12 hour night + 2 one and a half hour naps, or 1 long two to three hour nap.
To know... however... babies and kids tend to sleep more when the weather is hot (drowsy heat is named such for a reason), and when it's full on dark. So you'll notice longer sleeps in the summer and winter than in the spring and fall.
