I had pureed some baby food and put them in the freezer and now I totally forgot I had them in there and I read somewhere they can be kept for only 2 months. Now if it's like 2 months and a week or so, are they still good or should I just throw them away??

What can I do next?

I am making my own food as well. I am using the Everything Baby Food Cookbook and it states that in the freezer, it can be kept for up to 3 months.

Check for freezer burn but other than you should be ok.

It depends on how they were stored. If I were you I would give them a taste. If they seem funky or if the texture is off I would toss them.

Should be fine. As long as it's well frozen, I personally believe you can keep things in the freezer for longer than recommended, and still have them be good.
