My son turned 3 four days ago. I took him in for his well check today. I was just curious what your 3 yr olds weight and how tall they are. He weighs 31 lb and is 36 in tall. I just want to know if this is about right.
I don't remember our 3 year check up numbers, but our son just had his 4 year old checkup and at 41 lbs and 42", he is right around the 50-60%, so I think you are in good shape. :)

Well, it is just about right for him. My son, who will be 3 May 30th, is much bigger. He is 39 lbs and 42 inches tall. Yep, he is a big boy..wears a size 11 shoe, and a 4t bottom with a size 5 top. But, he is in perfect proportion and has followed his growth curve perfectly. That is the thing you need to watch for more than anything else. ~A.~
When my son turned 3 6mo ago he weighed about 32lbs and was almost 38in tall. What did your doctor say. I've always heard to double their height at age two and that is about how tall they will be. If that is true my son will be around 5"11. I am 5"6 and my husband is 6"3. I'm curious as well.
My son turned 3 in December and he now weighs 37 pounds and is 39 inches. He still hasn't had his 3 year check up so I don't know his percentages. I think your son sounds like he is right on track.
My daughter turned 3 in March and she was 25 lbs and 35 inches. she is in the 5th% for both height and weight and always has been. Our pedi says she'll not exceed 5'0" as an adult! ...a little gymnast?
official stats from my son's 3 year checkup: 38.8 lbs (74% percentile) and 39.25 inches tall (90% percentile).
