You can always get the window suction cups and put a hole in the name plate.
We laminated ours it was only 30 cents to do it and it will last all year now.
Good luck.
My son started Kindergarten yesterday and we have our yellow car sign with his name and teacher in our window for pick up time. My question is what is the best way to place it in your window so that the person can read it easily? I put it in a plastic sleeve so it won't get wrinkled or torn but should I tape it up or what? Do you leave it in your window all the time? Thanks so much!

We put ours just on the dash and when we got close enough, just held it up.
I fold mine a little and attach it to the passenger sunvisor with rubber bands. then when I get close I just flip the visor down. Sometimes the teachers don't see it, because they are looking for you to hold up a sign. I usually point to the visor and they nod to acknowledge it. As the years have passed, I notice more and more signs on the visor! haha
When I taught we laminated the colored sheet of paper for sturdiness and also gave the parents a clothespin to clip it to their passenger visor. When they got into the car loop, they simply flipped down the passenger seat visor and there it was... Hope this helps!
