M..
LOL! Im stumped. Too funny.
My son asked M. this morning who I loved more, him or Daddy?
I will never tell. ;)
I was relaying a cute Emmy story to my ex and he returned the favor by telling M. thier conversation this morning. (Emmy is 5 for those who need that to appreciate the cuteness=) )
He said on the way to school she was quiet and then out of nowhere Emmy piped up with "when they measure bunnies, do you think they stop at the head or do they measure the ears?"
Such a valid question. Where do they stop? I mean you'd get a few extra inches if you counted ears but then again this would skew the results for big bunnies with little ears.
so what say you?
What is standard practice in measuring bunnies?
What cute questions have your kids asked recently and how old are they?
I love how kids brains work. Their curiousity and the things that go through their mind...if we could bottle that and stay young and curious forever.....ah forget that we'd be burnt out from thinking so much=)

Vewy vewy quietwy,
Shhhh, it's wabbit season!
:)
I think the recipes call for pounds. :p
My son asked when Santa's birthday was! He was 4 at the time! In all of my years, I have never thought about that, lol, lol!
:)
Cute.
For what it's worth, if it were M. measuring, I would stop at the nose and not include ears. Most animals are measured nose to tip of tail. That excludes ears. :/
I would think they do it the same as dogs/cats and the ears are not part of the measurements.
On a simmilar note - we had to look this one up to be sure, my nephew who is now 18 but was 6 when he asked "Do chickens have tongues?" Btw, yes ... yes they do.
When she was little my daughter wanted to know J. how big a bird had to be to BE Big Bird. Did he need to be old like 8 years old? (she was maybe 3 at the time so 8 was about senile to her). Or was a tall thing, like our friend Big Chris (who is now one of my daycare client dads, and is 6'5...his wife is 6'1 and they have a genetically LARGE little boy--16 mos old, 35 inches tall and 35 pounds at his appointment last month...hes bigger than all my 2 year old's).
Her concern was that Big Bird had no family or friends like he was. Even a 3 year old picked up on commonalities in peer groups. She wanted to hug his feathery feather s and be his friend. She said Elmo and the rest had lots of friends like them but Big Bird seemed lonely in his nest, with J. Snuffy for a best pal. LOL She was very concerned!
She always loved the underdog! Still does at almost 18 years old! Its in her nature now!
I think rabbits are actually measured in pounds (((shudder))).
Don't tell her that! ;)
I've been asked what the name is of the "level" after Heaven...
