How Do You Get Rid of Old Post?

Can I delete my requests?

Part of the idea of Mamasource is that when moms ask and respond to questions on the site, the answers are saved for everyone’s ongoing benefit. For this reason, requests are not deleted.

When you make a request, it will go out in that day’s Daily Digest email, so you will receive the most answers within the following few days. If you would prefer not to continue receiving answers after that, please fill out the “So What Happened?” section.

But maybe like the other poster said, you could try and contact them, otherwise maybe you could at least remove all of the Text from the Request box. All that will be left are the responses? Or update it and say you have enough responses or something of that nature..

You can't delete a post, but you can edit the body. Simply go back to your request and change the text. Leaving it blank won't work...at least it doesn't for answers posted...I tried.

I think you can go in and "edit" any previous post that you've done. So, you should be able to enter the post and delete everything that you've written, then save it. The post will remain, with your name. But the body of what you wrote should be blank.

You can go in and ask the person who monitors the site.
