How Do You Download FREE Books for Your Amazon Kindle?

The Kindle store on Amazon.com has a whole section of free books. Go to the Kindle store homepage, and you should find the link there somewhere. Most of them are very old, but very good.

You can probably access he free book section from your Kindle, but I haven't tried it yet on mine, so I couldn't tell you.

I'm not sure about the Kindle... but for my Nook I just look under the 'free books' tab, find one I like, then search for that specific book from the nook. :)

I just search books and put "free" in the search field. Then, I go through the titles. When you find one (you can pick all sorts of genres), I click on "buy" and it uploads to my kindle.

Most local libraries have ebooks available for free download. Check your library's website.

I have the kindle app on my iphone and I'm sure it's the same. Go to "Get Books" and search for free books on Amazon. Most are older but they do have newer ones for free - often Book 1 in a series, my guess is to get you hooked :-) (it works!)

The easiest way is: (1) Press menu & choose "shop in Kindle store", then (2) Choose "Kindle Top Sellers". It will automatically come up with "Kindle Top 100 Paid". (3) Instead, click up to the top right & choose "Kingle Top 100 Free". This will give you a list of the Top 100 Free books on Kindle. You can also go to Amazon & go to the Kindle Store, then select "Kindle Top Sellers". It will give you side by side lists of the Kindle Top 100 Paid & Free (Paid on left, Free on right).
