How do you do the thing where "1 mom finds this helpful"
I know...not the best question but I just joined and I can't find how to do that! What's wrong with me? Haha
I'm probably not looking in the right places but I would like to add my opinion too!
Also, if I can add, if any mastectomy survivors know of any great bras and lingerie...especially for mastectomies (so they can hold prostetics and the like) I would really appreciate it!
I already asked the question and I appreciate the answer I got but I do need the bra, nightie, lingerie or whatever to be something comfortable and specific for mastectomies!
Thanks!
I'm sorry it took me so long! You all got flowers from me! Thanks so much all!
I talked to a local mastectomy boutique who said I could buy this post mastectomy tank and said that she would give me money back if my aunt didn't like the feel of it on her as long as she kept the receipts on! She understood my predicament (my aunt is in Italy and mom is to visit for a month) and she said that if that's how long it is, then she understood! As long as it was unworn with tags on!
Very sweet!

I buy my bras from Lady Grace, and just saw tonight they have a "post surgical" category. I've spoken with the staff - and found them to be friendly and knowledgeable.
Hope this helps
Thank you O. for asking this question about the "1 mom finds this helpful". I too could not figure out how to do this..... a little embarrassing now that I found out how simple it is. : )
I can't answer the 1st part of your question..but......
I buy all of my mastectomy bras thru a catalog put out by the Cancwe society, it is also on line. TLC......they have ever color you can imagine, and many, many styles. I have always had a "thing" for bras, and this place helps, I have red, blue, purple, brown, pink, white, peach...etc....comfortable and affordable......TLC, good luck.
I don't know how far post-surgery you are, but when one of my sorority sisters had a double mastectomy, she said the camisoles we sent her from Nordstrom were simply the best. Here is a link to their whole line. Good luck--and if it's for you or someone else, I hope they kick cancer's a**!

I beleive JC penny has a whole collection for patients in this condition.
As far as the "helpful" part I think you give them a flower.
Good luck to you.

Their specialty is mastectomy lingerie and prosthetics. Their sales women are all very kind and extremely knowledgeable.
Good luck.
I haven't done the "helpful" thing so I can't help you with that.
JCPenney has a mestectomy section on their website. If you go to JCPenney.com and search mestectomy, they have bras, swimsuits, etc.
