My 4 year has been vomiting all week and has got my couch more than once. How do I get the smell out of it? I have scrubbed it with soap and water to no avail. I have used Febreeze with no luck. Any cleaners that you would recommend?

What can I do next?

I use OdoBan - you can spray it on just about anything then wipe it down.
Also, sounds weird - but if you have a covered patio you could drag the couch outside to air out also.
Good Luck.

those other answers sound like good ideas on here but what worked for me was using a little laundry detergent and hot water and get it soapy and scrub it. Now, I didn't have to clean up alot of it so I don't know if it would work on a big area but it seemed to help with the smell. I have upholstery but if you have like microfiber it might not be a good idea. Good luck!

I had the exact same issue a few weeks ago with my daughter who will be 4 on Valentine's Day. I did the same thing ~ vaccuum (I used a wet vac.) & Fabreeze a zillion times & it didn't work. Resolve may help. We ended up taking the cushin covers off & washing them. We put the actual coushins outside to air out for a while (it wasn't a snowy day).

Isopropyl alcohol from Walgreen's/CVS/etc. Get the highest content like 91% (not 70%) and it get's ALL of the smells out with chemicals and it's cheap!

We use this on beds with urine spots, vomit, etc. Once you staurate the area, ventilate well and use a towel or paper towels to soak up as much as you can.

Baking soda takes odors out, too. Sprinkle it on there, kind of "rub it in" and let it sit for a while then vacuum.
